A competitor at heart, Debbie's enormous accomplishment only had her searcing for a new challenge to overcome. Her search ended when she decided to take over as coach for a novice team of twenty swimmers. What the team didn't know was their new coach set a goal for herself and her team--she would bring them to the nationals. Sure enough, after countless hours of hard work and a steadfast determination, this dream was realized. "Seeing my girls go all the way to the nationals was truly amazing," Debbie says. "Nothing I'd ever experienced, not even during my own races, could compare."
Family Matters
 Few things bring this uniquely dedicated woman greater joy than the times spent with her family. A wife and mother of four, Debbie naturally extends her competitive spirit to her children. In fact, when she coached her son's baseball team, she couldn't help but see her own dedicated spirit in his determined appproach to the game. Still, Debbie's all for taking time out from the competition for some outdoor adventure with the family. Jet skiing, camping, fishing and water skiing are favorites.
